PICTURE OF THE DAY -- 09/10/2008
Coral and me sitting on the couch
On her next birthday, she will be pretty close to the age I was when this picture was taken! Just what I needed tonight, a good dose of the unbelievable! But believe it I must!
That sweet little spirit of hers still shines out, just like it did way back then...
A beautiful picture Jeanette. So young, hard to believe we were ever so youthful , and filled with strenght for the long journey ahead. It seems to me that Grace Himself has accompanied you and Coral and your family. God is so Good. Have a great blessed day.
How pretty you both are! And I just love the look of love and joy on Coral's face.
I have a picture of me holding Charis when she was about 6 or 7 months old. She is leaning back and looking at me - much like Coral is doing in this picture - and smiling this huge smile! It makes my heart leap to look at that picture. Where has time gone?
What a reminder to seize every moment, not to waste any time with those precious ones.
This is one of the best, JJ! The other gals have said it exactly all! Methinks I shall sit with my Kinnie and watch Hannah Montana over a bowl of ice cream tonight!
I owe you an email(s) about the getting the Losers up and Winning again! Thanks for your patience -- I'm a bit puffed here but hope to be above water level soon.
I'm glad all of you love this picture, because it is one of my favorites!
You are so right, Nancy! It is hard to believe we were ever so youthful! And yet where has the time gone?? (Just like Renae said!) I think some strength comes from only looking at one day at a time. I think if I had known the whole journey back then, I wouldn't have had any strength at all! Yes, God is and has always been good!
I love the look on Coral's face, too, Renae! And I can just imagine your picture with Charis! Seize every moment...I've missed quite a few, I'm afraid. Just making it through sometimes robs us of the moments, but I think I'm learning. I'm glad that someone with a camera was catching some of the moments so I can remember them now.
I hope you got to eat ice cream and watch TV with Kinza tonight, Carol-Ann! And its okay about owing me an email. I am really behind in my work tonight, so I know what you are talking about. Hopefully, we can all come up for air really soon...
