THE TRIP TO THE CAMPSITE...
Mike parked his truck, and they began the hike to where they would spend the night before climbing Humboldt Peak.
Sights along the way...
Here's the tent, complete with front porch......and the fire Trent got going so they could cook. And then it was lights out. (I heard that the tent kept the light snow away, Trent's sleeping bag was nice and warm, the air pillow was a great idea, but the ground was VERY hard!)
And here is where they are headed in the morning!

What a beautiful look at our Father's handiwork. Thank you & please thank your husband for sharing these pictures with us.
It IS beautiful, Louise! There is nothing that can compare to it. He is the originator of beauty, and anything we do is just a poor copy.
PS: It is Trent, my son, who is doing most of the picture taking. So far, I don't have pictures with him because of that. Maybe sometime he will hand his camera to a friend to take his picture!
Okay ... now I've got it .. Barry is your husband and Trent is your son. Please thank him for me!
All I can think to say is, "Wow."
Kinza took one look at Mike and said, "don't get HIM mad"!
